Infrastructure refers to the digital tooling used to enable the publishing of the event organising process as a case-study. As mentioned in the Why section, both social and technical disciplines are required for this work. Similarly to facilitation, where this is not included as a service in the contract modelling, we expect this to mean that it will be covered by other means for the event.

Infrastructure pays for technical capacity for the duration of the event, as opposed to cost of using software/ services such as the protocol, priced separately. Software costs are absorbed for the duration of the event.

Outside of the context of an event, software is either self-hosted freely, or managed by Prisma as a paid service, which can be modelled with the Managed Service model.
