Posture describes how much risk of organisational capacity shortage the contract bears, and effects both facilitation and infrastructure rates equally. It makes the resource assumptions behind the model explicit.

• Facilitation: 10% → 15%
• Infrastructure: 10% → 15%

These facilitation and infrastructure rates fund delivery capacity, so changing posture can change the scale of event the contract model supports.

The lean setting is intended to make constrained or exceptional scenarios visible. Where possible, comfortable is used.

Besides a maintenance/ support reserve, the protocol does not require organisational capacity. The protocol rate is currently modelled as a static 5%, regardless of posture setting.
