Hub Primacy
The project execution relies heavily on coordination with local hubs in each region selected for primary research. To the client, these local hubs are the auhtoritative point of contact for regional stakeholder access. Stakeholder recruitment will be delegated to hubs for them to own that domain of responsibilities for their respective region.
In alignment with PRISMA’s organising methodology already practiced with several candidate hubs, local teams may be incubated to further distribute the field intelligence efforts.
By focusing on the interviewer training modules outlined in the interview guide, and by working on deepening existing hub-prisma organising capabilities, we expect to be able to deliver high quality local stakeholder enagements.
Recursive Enrolment
Prisma has for a long time already organised participatory events with enrolment as one of the four core process domains. This project applies that basic principle of enrolment across each link of the network:
- From Prisma as coordinating entity
- To Hubs as central regional counterparties
- To Teams as field agents
- To local stakeholders for primary research purposes
Each link owns the responsibility of ensuring the quality of the one next downstream link, fully. Therefore, Prisma onboards hubs, who orchestrate regionally-informed research and onboard teams, who contribute to the research by engaging local stakeholders.
In this way, the regional playbooks as a whole can attain and communicate far greater understanding of the local intricacies of each particular regional context than would otherwise be feasible by centralised/ top-down research from afar. Inhabiting place is one of the most fundamental principles across all of our work.
Enrolment Forms
Forms are used to formalise roles and give shape to the overall form of the collective process (form as verb/ process, not noun/ object).
Forms are the repeating unit across each level. The following table shows how the responsibilities of form definition is distributed across project participants:
| Organising Level | Full Definition | Delegation | Guidance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Network (Prisma) | Hub form | Local teams, Local stakeholders | Local teams, Local stakeholders |
| Hubs | Local teams | Local stakeholders | Local stakeholders |
| Local teams | Local stakeholders | NA | NA |
The following guidances are provided for each form type:
Verification
The atomic data ingest used during stakeholder interviews works in conjunction with verifiable attestations of stakeholder relationships. In the same way that the hub is given the responsibility to evaluate entries, assure data quality, and issue Verifiable Claims (VCs) for batches of interview records, hubs may issue VCs to local teams to vouch for stakeholder relationships. The key is the hub must own the responsibility of re-activating that relationship if it is decided the outputs of their efforts - the regional adoption signal - is to be acted upon. The issuance of VCs is the account of lead sourcing and the team’s stake in the playbook upside (future market entry initiatives), and therefore also a clear incentive for teams. All stakeholders (at all levels) can use this transparency to invest into the relational development.
Recursive enrolment is structured to generate candidates for primary research (interviews) that come from the use-cases identified by regional hubs themselves.
Each enroled hub and team can optionally be formalised as a relationship further, as mentioned above, with VCs. Peers can mutually attest to the relational link formed between the actors (across organisational contexts) by creating a VC with a reference to their enrolment form submission as part of the metadata.
In this way, the recursive enrolment builds up a verifiable chain of connections from network interface to network edges. For the context of this project…
- Network interface means the client (app and user) of Cardano, to whom the network serves decision support for market entry
- Network edges means the boundary of where this network reaches real-world adoption end-points (local stakeholders)
Therefore, this verifiable enrolment as a data fabric essentially defines the essential communication channels required for the client to be able to act upon the market entry playbooks provided. In prior events, this same pattern meant distribution pathways for the settlement of funding. For this project, this pattern means an actionable network for direct engagement with interested counter-parties.
